From the City of Wells, follow the A372 (Portway) to Cheddar/Wookey. Take the left, sign posted to Wookey, along the B3139 for approximately 1 mile. Take the third right along Preywater Road and turn left at the junction onto Knowle Lane. The nearest postcode is BA5 1LB. Access is on foot from this point. Following the signs to the Playing Field, continue along the bridleway for 600m where you will find a gate to the right. This provides access to the western field. The eastern field can be accessed via a public footpath from Knowle Lane, adjacent to The Old Cider Barn.
